Event shuttle service

There is a limited amount of seating available on the 2023 World Bowls Championships event shuttle buses, for spectators and International Technical Officials.

Public Transport

Attendees are encouraged to take public transportation to the 2023 World Bowls Championships.

Trams

Attendees can utilise the G:Link tram service to travel between the host clubs.

The G: Light Rail system operates from 5am to midnight on weekdays and throughout weekends.

The route links Helensvale, Gold Coast University Hospital, Southport, Main Beach, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach with a 7.5 minute service between 7am and 7pm weekdays.

The closest station to three of the host venues is listed below:

Please note, the closest station to Musgrave Hill Bowls Club (Queen Street station) is approximately 1.5km south of the club, and could take 20 minutes to walk.

Also note, Paradise Point is closest to Helensvale station and Mudgeeraba is closest to Broadbeach, but neither are directly near tram lines.

Public Buses

Surfside Buslines operate the public buses on the Gold Coast.

Ride-share and taxi services

A pick-up/drop-off zone for ride-shares and taxi services will operate at each of the five clubs.
